The Older Persons' Service
CASA's Older Persons' Service helps people aged 55 and over who are concerned about their use of alcohol. The service enables older people to live to their fullest potential by helping them to address their alcohol use and to improve other, related areas of their life.
We offer a high quality, holistic system of treatment which will address underlying mental and physical health issues, as well as personal and social issues in relation to each person's use of alcohol.

- People who would like support in a community setting.

As well as helping with alcohol use, we are interested in the wellbeing, happiness and ongoing potential of each person who uses our service. We recognise that people have individual needs, and try to respond to these flexibly and imaginatively. We are also experienced in helping people who:
- Have concerns about ageing
- Are worried about the future
- Are depressed or anxious

- Are worried about their health
- Have concerns about retirement
- Would like to find new meaning and purpose
- Feel isolated
In addition to our standard service we can offer alcohol counselling to people with mental health problems and/or dementia. We are not able to work with people who are currently homeless.
