The Moving On Project

The Moving On Project helps people who have experienced an alcohol problem and have gone some way towards tackling that problem.

The project encourages self development with activities that build confidence, gain skills and improve health. We help clients to build a positive and active lifestyle, helping them to access further education, volunteering and employment.

Who the service is for

  • People aged 18 and over who have stopped or very much reduced their drinking.
  • Those who want to think about further education or training.
  • Those who want to return to work or to try volunteering as preparation for work.
  • The project is open to residents of Islington, including those who use other alcohol services.
